Phthalic Anhydride (PA),
The primary use of phthalic anhydride (PA) is as a chemical intermediate in the production of plastics from vinyl chloride. Phthalate esters, which function as plasticizers, are derived from phthalic anhydride. Phthalic anhydride has another major use in the production of polyester resins and other minor uses in the production of alkyd resins used in paints and lacquers, certain dyes (anthraquinone, phthalein, rhodamine, phthalocyanine, fluorescein, and xanthene dyes), insect repellents, and urethane polyester polyols. It has also been used as a rubber scorch inhibitor and retarder.

DI - Octyle Phthalate (DOP),
is produced by esterification process, it is highly compatible with PVC and has an excellent plasticizing effect and has average characteristics of various plasticizers. In PVC processing the consumption of DOP is the highest among all plasticizers.

Maleic Anhydride (MA),
is used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of fumaric and tartaric acid, certain agricultural chemicals, resins in numerous products, dye intermediates, and pharmaceuticals (HSDB, 1995). It is also used as a co-monomer for unsaturated polyester resins, an ingredient in bonding agents used to manufacture plywood, a corrosion inhibitor, and a preservative in oils and fats.

Raw Material (RAW),
Orthoxylene (OX) is the second largest of the three commercial isomers of xylene. Almost all OX output is consumed in the manufacture of phthalic anhydride (PA), which has three principal uses: phthalate plasticisers used in the compounding of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins; unsaturated polyesters resins (UPRs) used in glass-reinforced thermoset engineering applications; and alkyd resins used mainly for surface coatings.
