• Principal Properties: Clear, Almost Colorless, Viscous Liquid. Mild Odour, Insoluble in water, Readily Soluble in Organic Solvents.
• Application: Versatile Plasticizer, Used in Plasticizing Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Binder in Paints, Pigmented and Unpigmented Lacquers and for Grinding Pigments.
• Derivation : Esterification of Phthalic Anhydride and 2-Ethyl Hexanol.
• Solubility : Alcohol, Ketones, Halogenated hydrocarbons, Aromatic hydrocarbons.
